eMoney Advisor adds features to plan summary report

eMoney Advisor (eMoney) has announced new features to its plan summary report.

The new customizable components include metrics and visualizations are available within the firm’s plan summary report, which was first launched in November 2020 to enable financial advisors to customize their deliverables to clients in ways that reflect their desired narratives or presentation styles.

“These enhancements were based on direct feedback from our users to improve both the advisor and client experience within the report,” said Josh Belfiore, manager, group product management at eMoney, in a statement. “A client’s financial plan is extremely personal, and displaying what matters most to clients is critical in developing strong, long-term relationships.”

Later this year, eMoney said it will release multi-view functionality that allows users to view multiple reports simultaneously within the platform’s Decision Center and save the views as templates.

The Standard expands retirement plan sales team

Kevin Mannino, The Standard

The Standard has announced that Kevin Mannino and Sarah McEleney are joining its retirement plan sales team — each in a new national sales director role. With the significant increase in demand for services in The Standard’s $25 million-and-above asset market segment, the new roles were created to enhance the delivery of strategies and tools to these customers.

Mannino joins The Standard with 12 years of experience in the retirement industry. He spent most of his career generating new business for mid- to large-sized retirement plans at Prudential Retirement. Prior to joining The Standard, Mannino served as senior director of distribution at Principal Financial Group. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut and a master’s from Villanova University in Pennsylvania.

Sarah McEleney, The Standard

McEleney has more than 20 years of experience in the retirement industry, mostly with mid- and large-sized retirement plans. She has worked as a retirement plan advisor and in a variety of recordkeeping roles including product development, sales, and relationship management. Prior to joining The Standard, McEleney served as director of sales strategy at Transamerica.

She attended Central Connecticut State University and currently lives in St. Petersburg, Florida.

“Our services are in record-high demand, so it’s an exciting time for our team,” said Jason Burlie, head of retirement plan sales at The Standard. “The experience and expertise Kevin and Sarah bring to their roles is significant as we continually look for ways to improve how we meet the needs of advisors and clients in this market segment.”

Strongpoint announces partnership with PFS

Strongpoint Partners is collaborating with Pension Financial Services (PFS), a retirement third-party administrator (TPA) headquartered in Duluth, Georgia.

“For over 40 years, our mission at PFS has been to help plan sponsors create brighter futures for their employees,” said Earle Garvin, founder and principal of PFS. “Having the ability to navigate the retirement services industry’s ever-evolving regulatory landscape and market dynamics, without sacrificing the personalized service core to the PFS brand, was central to our decision to partner with Strongpoint. Strongpoint will not only invest in modernizing our infrastructure and maximizing our growth, but will also enable us to service our clients with the same care, accuracy and customer-centric support that has defined us since our founding.”

“This partnership has been a long time coming,” said Danny Hest, chief executive officer of Strongpoint. “Earle is a well-respected leader within the industry and shares our people-first approach to serving plan sponsors and participants across the small and medium-sized business community. From the first day we put our organizational vision down on paper, we knew that Earle was the type of leader we wanted to join us on this journey. His team has been incredible throughout this process – we’re so excited by the relationships they’ve already built across the organization and are thrilled by the industry experience and expertise they will bring to Strongpoint. When your organizational ethos is ‘stronger together,’ it’s impossible to have too many good people – and Earle and his team at PFS are a very welcome addition to the Strongpoint Family!”
