The first “cryptocurrency retirement app” is now available to the public, as Bitcoin IRA announced the release of its official mobile app on June 21.

The new app allows users to buy, sell and swap crypto assets inside their self-directed retirement accounts. With the app, investors can securely manage and monitor their accounts while they’re on the go, at any time and any place.

Los Angeles-based Bitcoin IRA, a financial services technology provider which bills itself as “the world’s first, largest, and most secure cryptocurrency retirement platform,” says investors interested in the new app can download and install it on Apple and Android devices.

“Our mission at Bitcoin IRA is to help Americans retire early, and our mobile app is the latest initiative to make it even easier for our users and new customers to invest in cryptocurrencies inside their self-directed retirement accounts,” said Chris Kline, Bitcoin IRA Co-Founder and COO. “We remain focused on enhancing the customer experience and are proud to be the first crypto retirement platform of its kind to be able to offer this app to our users.”

Bitcoin IRA says cryptocurrency retirement accounts have been surging in popularity, with the company surpassing 100,000 users in Q1 2021, a 107% increase from a year earlier. Back in March the company announced that over $100 million had been invested into “IRA Earn,” its interest-earning Bitcoin IRA platform, in its first 30 days. To date, the company says it has processed over $1.5 billion in transactions.

The company said growing user demand led it to develop the new custom app to make it easier to self-trade crypto assets, track portfolios, set custom price alerts, and monitor monthly interest (up to 6%) earned on crypto assets, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and even cash.

Bitcoin IRA’s new mobile app provides a full solution for self-directed crypto IRA investors. The app also makes it easier for new retirement investors seeking to invest in crypto to create an account within minutes and upon account funding, can start making crypto investments directly from their mobile devices.
