All told, more than 170 lawsuits about retirement plan fees have been filed in federal courts since 2020, mostly by five law firms. But move over Jerry Schlichter: Harrisburg, Pa.-based Capozzi Adler is behind nearly half of them, according to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
Senators Elizabeth Warren and Tina Smith want answers from Fidelity about its recent plan to allow bitcoin investments in 401(k) plans.
In their letter addressed to Fidelity CEO Abigail Johnson, the senators ask the company to explain why it has failed to heed the DOL warning about 401(k) crypto investments. They also raise concerns about potential conflicts of interest presented by Fidelity for being both a miner and a purveyor of bitcoin.
