Jerry Patterson is a financial services executive with over 25 years of experience in retirement planning, insurance, and wealth management. He currently serves as Head of Advanced Wealth Solutions at Cetera Financial Group, where he leads the firm's retirement, life insurance, and annuity offerings, helping financial advisors provide financial security to their clients.
Before joining Cetera in June 2024, Patterson was President of Fidelity Investments Life Insurance Company, where he integrated insurance solutions into wealth management practices for advisors and RIA network partners . Prior to Fidelity, he spent two decades at Principal Financial Group, holding various leadership roles including annuity business P&L lead, pension risk transfer business P&L lead, CMO for all insurance businesses, COO for Nippon Life Insurance Company of Japan’s US business, and P&L lead of Principal’s largest business, the retirement plan record keeping business.
