Lori Lucas, CFA, is the CEO Emeritus of the Employee Benefit Research Institute (EBRI), where she served as President and CEO from 2018 to 2022. During her tenure, she advanced EBRI's mission by enhancing research accessibility and emphasizing diversity, equity, and inclusion. Prior to EBRI, Lucas was Executive Vice President at Callan Associates, leading its defined contribution practice. Her earlier roles include Director of Retirement Research at Hewitt Associates and analyst positions at Morningstar and Ibbotson Associates. A Chartered Financial Analyst, Lucas holds degrees from Indiana University and the University of Illinois. She now leads LucasInsights LLC and continues to contribute to the retirement industry through advisory roles and writing.
