Dr. Stephen (Steve) Wendel is the Co-founder and Head of Methodology of sistemaFutura an organization focused on studying and shaping complex systems for social impact.  Previously, Steve was Morningstar’s Head of Behavioral Science, leading a team of behavioral scientists and practitioners dedicated to original research on saving and investing habits. With a PhD and extensive background—including roles at HelloWallet—he applies behavioral economics and psychology to help investors take control of their finances. Steve is the author of multiple books, including Designing for Behavior Change, and the founder of the nonprofit Action Design Network, which fosters community learning across major U.S. cities.
