Tulio D. Chirinos is the owner of The Chirinos Law Firm, PLLC.  Tulio brings has a broad range of experience from complicated class action defense on behalf of large corporations to individual immigration matters serving pro bono clients.

Prior to founding The Chirinos Law Firm PLLC, Tulio was a dedicated associate at the well-respected international law firm Proskauer Rose LLP. During his 10 years at Proskauer, Tulio practiced in the Labor & Employment Law Department and was a member of the Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Group and the Workplace Investigations Practice Group. He worked on a wide variety of ERISA and non-ERISA plan litigation matters, including fee and investment litigation cases, breach of fiduciary duty claims and benefits claims. He also represented management in workplace investigations and litigation of employment-related matters, including claims of unlawful discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. Tulio focused his pro bono efforts on immigration matters where he has represented individuals seeking asylum, family-based immigration, and several juveniles from Central America in their special immigrant juvenile status (SIJ) petitions.

Tulio is the author of several ERISA-related articles, many focusing on ERISA fee and investment litigation featured in the Benefits Law Journal (2016-2024), Bloomberg BNA, and Law360. Tulio was the co-editor and a frequent contributor to Proskauer’s Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Blog.
