Day No. 2 of Wealth@wor(k) kicked off in Nashville on Tuesday with the highly anticipated announcement of the overall ‘2021 Top Advisor By Participant Outcomes (TAPO)’ designee.
This year’s theme, “Triumph in a Tough Year,” saw incredible creativity with the 12 top advisors in solving complex retirement plan issues—intertwined with an ongoing pandemic—which raised the bar for the industry as a whole.
The 2021 TAPO was awarded to August TAPO Jim Sampson, Director with the Hilb Group Retirement Services, who “thanked the Academy” to laughter at the beginning of his acceptance speech.

“John made a mistake by giving me a mic and letting me just go unchecked,” he added, clearly a natural with crowds.
