Pershing LLC has doubled the number of 401k recordkeepers on its Retirement Plan Network in the past year, adding five just recently. The new additions expand the geographic presence of the platform, furthering Pershing’s ability to address the needs of plan advisors across the country, according to the company.
Pershing selected the new recordkeepers “due to their strong focus on open architecture, fee transparency, and fiduciary and practice management capabilities.”
The new recordkeeper additions include:
- EPIC Advisors – Rochester, New York
- North American KTRADE Alliance, LLC (“KTRADE”) – Plymouth, Indiana
- Oriental Pension Consultants – Boca Raton, Florida
- PenSys, Inc – Roseville, California
- Spectrum Pension Consultants – Tacoma, Washington
“We are committed to effectively serving the needs of advisors who sell and service retirement plans, so that they can serve their clients efficiently,” Marc Caras, head of Pershing’s Retirement Plan Network, said in a statement.
“Our team is continuously working to address the needs of advisors and their plan sponsor clients. We expect to continue expanding the network over the next year to include additional recordkeepers, while maintaining strict criteria as our network reaches maturity.”
Since last year, Pershing has doubled the number of participating recordkeepers in its Retirement Plan Network. The new recordkeepers join existing firms on the platform which include: 401kDIRECT, Allen Gibbs & Houlik, Aspire Financial Services, Benefit Consultants Group, July Business Services, Sentinel Benefits, and Summit Benefit Solutions.
All of the recordkeepers on Pershing’s platform “emphasize advisor support and provide retirement plan solutions customizable to meet plan sponsor and plan participant needs,” the company said.
