Fiduciary continues its move to the forefront.

Two West Advisors and TAG Resources have joined together to develop a contract arrangement that allows Two West Advisors to act as 3(38) on the TAG Resources 401k Aggregated Retirement Solution.

This program kicked off on January 1, 2019, and allows Two West Partner Advisors to sell the TAG “end to end” 401k solution.

The TAG Resources 401k Aggregated Retirement Solution is a fully bundled plan that includes 3(16) Administrative Fiduciary services, 402(a) Named Fiduciary services, 3(38) Investment Management Fiduciary Services (Two West), recordkeeping services (Transamerica) as well as full TPA services.

Currently, 1750 employers are using the program.

Two West Advisors is an independent RIA and serves $1.5B in retirement plan assets.

In 2018, Two West received 401k Specialist’s Top Advisor by Participant Outcomes (TAPO) Award for the month of October.

Two West is a CEFEX Certified firm. CEFEX is an independent global assessment organization. Its mission is to promote and verify excellence by assessing and certifying conformity to high professional standards of conduct.

TAG Resources, headquartered in Knoxville, Tennessee, was a pioneer in the area of Multiple Employer Plans (MEP), including creating and trademarking The Open MEP and developing other fiduciary liability protection structures “that have made working with retirement plans easier and safer than ever before,” according to the company.

Since its inception in the mid-1990s, TAG “has created forward thinking and technology-driven retirement plan solutions for 401(k) plan sponsors and their employees. TAG has a culture of innovation that is unique in the retirement industry. TAG’s success at providing products that are easy to administer, mitigate risk and control costs have made them one of the largest fiduciary outsourcing firms in the United States today.”
