The Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) is a division of the U.S. Department of Labor responsible for protecting the integrity of private-sector employee benefit plans. It oversees retirement, health, and other welfare benefit plans under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA). EBSA enforces compliance, provides guidance, and ensures workers, retirees, and their families receive the benefits they’ve earned.
