Pooled Employer Plans (PEP)
90 posts
A Pooled Employer Plan (PEP) is a retirement savings plan introduced under the SECURE Act of 2019 that allows multiple unrelated employers to participate in a single 401(k) plan managed by a pooled plan provider (PPP). By joining together, employers can reduce administrative burdens, lower costs, and gain access to professional management. PEPs are designed to expand retirement plan access, especially for small and mid-sized businesses, by offering a streamlined, cost-effective alternative to sponsoring a standalone 401(k).
