Duba joined Prime Capital Financial in 2021 and has played a key role in the Overland Park, Kan.-based firm’s growth and evolution. He most recently served as CIO and president of wealth management, where he oversaw the firm’s investment platform as assets under management grew from approximately $20 billion to more than $40 billion. Under his leadership, Prime Capital Financial significantly expanded alternative investment offerings, and enhanced its tax advisory, multifamily office, financial planning and insurance capabilities.

In his new role as president, Duba will assume broader enterprise‑wide responsibilities, partnering closely with advisors and senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives, operational excellence and continued growth.

“Scott’s exceptional leadership has guided our firm through a period of extraordinary growth,” said Glenn Spencer, CEO of Prime Capital Financial. “His investment experience, ability to scale complex platforms, and ability to build trusted relationships with our advisors and clients make him uniquely qualified to help lead Prime Capital Financial into its next phase of growth.”

“We have incredible advisors, clients, and associates. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve them. With the capabilities our firm has and continues to build, we remain focused on delivering the best possible experience for all our stakeholders,” Duba said.

McGough joined Prime Capital Financial in 2023 as director of investments, bringing more than two decades of experience across asset management, wealth management, capital markets, retirement solutions and financial technology. He was promoted to deputy CIO in 2025.

In his new role as CIO, McGough will oversee Prime Capital Financial’s investment strategy, portfolio management, trading and research functions, and will lead a team of more than 12 investment professionals. He is an early innovator in ETF‑based solutions and defined contribution advisor‑managed accounts.

McGough’s mandate includes continuing to expand the investment platform to comprehensively serve client investment needs via integrated portfolios across both public and private markets.

“Will brings a rare combination of deep knowledge, forward-thinking innovation and an incredible commitment to produce results for all of our clients,” said Duba. “His leadership will ensure our investment platform continues to evolve and deliver exceptional outcomes for clients and advisors alike.”

Prime Capital Financial provides comprehensive wealth management, retirement plan consulting, tax advisory, trust and estate, and insurance advisory services to clients nationwide, anchored by a practitioner-led, advisor-centric platform. The firm has experienced significant growth over the past five years, expanding its national footprint and service offerings.

“These appointments reflect our commitment to building a durable, best‑in‑class organization as client needs continue to evolve,” said Spencer. “Strengthening our leadership will allow us to deliver integrated, long-term solutions for clients.”

Today’s announcement marks the latest in a string of executive moves at Prime Capital Financial. In December, the firm announced that renowned ERISA attorney Fred Reish, longtime partner at top 50 law firm Faegre Drinker in its benefits, executive compensation and investment management groups, would serve as the director of fiduciary and ERISA practice at Prime Capital Retirement. In November 2024, Prime Capital Financial announced that high-profile advisor Jania Stout, CPFA, would join the company as President of Prime Capital Retirement.
