Austin, Texas-based tech and retirement solutions firm LeafHouse Financial announced that cofounder Todd Kading will take on added leadership responsibilities and serve as its new Chief Executive Officer. Cofounder Neal Weaver will assume the role of President and Dallas Villarreal will be the new Chief Compliance Officer.
In the CEO role, Kading will lead the development and execution of long-term strategies, including driving distribution initiatives to revitalize the retirement space, according to the firm.
“I can’t wait to see what the year will bring and how the firm’s partners and LeafHouse team will increase innovation, growth, and value creation together,” Kading said in a statement. “I will serve the firm’s network by helping [to] enable our partners, people, and clients to make a difference.”
As President, Weaver will concentrate on the firm’s sales organization to deliver suitable investment solutions for employers and employees.
“It has been my honor and privilege to be in the CEO role for LeafHouse and I support this transition,” Weaver noted. “I am excited to focus and dedicate energy to the Sales team and drive further enhancements so our clients can reach their long-term financial goals.”

As the new CCO and Senior Operations Manager, Dallas Villarreal will manage compliance programs and lead operational and onboarding processes to serve clients and external partners engaging LeafHouse for investment fiduciary services. Dallas Villarreal will report to Chief Operating Officer Chad Brown.
“Ms. Villarreal will bring high-level management experience. She will support LeafHouse expansion by delivering greater operational efficiency and coordination during the next phases of our growth,” Kading concluded.
LeafHouse describes itself as an “innovative disruptor that combines strong capabilities across investments and technology to deliver flexible, solutions to the retirement space.” As of September 30, 2021, the firm reported overseeing $15 billion in AUM.
