Alight, Inc. this week announced the release of Alight Worklife for 2025.

“As a technology-enabled services company, Alight is driven to help 35 million people achieve better health and financial security,” said Josh Welch, EVP of Product at Alight. “Our latest innovations continue to deliver on our mission to empower organizations with the Alight Benefits Advantage. That means creating experiences that employees will love while helping employers optimize their important benefits investments.”

The platform includes Alight Worklife for Microsoft Teams, where employees will have direct access to their benefits and wellbeing information within the Teams platform.

Other features offer updates that continue to build on Alight’s artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities, as well as user experience features to streamline processes, improve access and provide deeper insights for both employers and employees.

Among these include Alight’s new employer reporting and analytics platform, expanded AI automation in claims processing, and a programs library that features recent partners of Alight like Carrot Fertility, Journey, and Lyra Health.

The latest release of Alight Worklife also includes Alight’s new product, Alight IRA, a retirement savings solution that offers both traditional and Roth options, rollover capabilities from prior 401(k)s, investment options, and support throughout the process.

Additionally, this release includes updates in response to the SECURE 2.0 Act. As a result, Alight has incorporated added flexibility to its defined benefit overpayment collection, as well as a modernized design and integration of financial health products in one command center.

Finally, a new bereavement documentation process allows beneficiaries to upload death certificates and other necessary information directly through the platform.
