Allianz Life Debuts Enhanced Annuity Options

The Allianz Benefit Control+TM Annuity and Allianz 222+TM Annuity offer diversification and personalization features

Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America announced that it is launching enhanced versions of two fixed index annuities in response to consumer demand and to further help protect Americans from ongoing market volatility.

Allianz Benefit Control+TM Annuity and Allianz 222+TM Annuity have more options for diversification and personalization with new features:

  • Accessibility enhancements include the Income Flex Benefit that allows clients to access more of their annuity’s value sooner to help address life’s unexpected events.
  • Crediting innovations to offer greater choice include a 1-Year Highest Daily Value crediting method with a participation rate2 and Performance Trigger crediting method.
  • New options of indexing diversification4 include an S&P 500 Futures Index ER with a non-volatility-controlled pure equity options and a Morgan Stanley Strategic Trends 10 ER Index that adapts to market trends and offers tech equity exposure.

“Americans are looking for more options to personalize products to their own investment philosophy in today’s market environment,” said Heidi Vanderkloot, head of FMO distribution at Allianz Life, in a statement. “These enhanced versions of our top-selling income FIAs offer greater flexibility and more control than ever before while continuing to provide a level of protection against risks to help consumers attain their retirement goals.”

The Allianz Benefit Control+TM Annuity and Allianz 222+TM Annuity options were created to mitigate the risks of inflation and market volatility, such as an increasing income opportunity to help address the rising cost of living and Index Lock that allows clients to lock in a positive index value once per crediting period.
