Blaine Aikin is the Founder and Principal of Fiduciary Insights, LLC, an independent firm providing fiduciary expertise and thought leadership to organizations that serve investment advisors and investors. A nationally recognized authority on fiduciary responsibility, investment management, and financial planning, he has spent more than four decades advancing standards of professionalism and investor protection within the financial services industry.  Prior to founding Fiduciary Insights in 2019, Mr. Aikin served in executive leadership roles at fi360 for 15 years, including Chief Executive Officer and Executive Chairman. He also held senior positions with PNC Advisors and Allegiance Financial Advisors, where he served as Chief Investment Officer.  Mr. Aikin is a frequent speaker and published author on fiduciary practices and investment management. He previously served as Chair of the CFP Board of Standards and has been recognized among the most influential figures in the investment advisory profession.  He holds a master’s degree in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University and earned the CFA®, CFP®, and AIFA® professional designations
