What do Shark Tank star Daymond John and PGIM’s David Blanchett have in common? Both are among the speakers this year at the Broadridge Fi360 Solutions Annual Conference, the offspring of the union between the Matrix GetConnected and Broadridge Fi360 Solutions Annual Conferences.

John Faustino

Set to kick off in Austin, Texas on Sunday, the conference will have a heavy focus on fiduciary knowledge, with Fred Reish, Bonnie Treichel, and Jason Roberts, among the high-profile ERISA experts slated to speak.

“I’m thrilled with the lineup that we have this year at the conference,” John Faustino, Head of Broadridge Fi360 Solutions. “Our No. 1 focus every year is bringing high-quality continuing education credit to our AIF, AIFA, and PPC designees. Like last year, I’m also excited about the quality of content that we’ve got.”

He specifically pointed to Federated Hermes’ Mary Green and Kary Moore, who will deliver the opening keynote Sunday afternoon titled, “Depoliticizing and Demystifying ESG for Retirement Plans.”

Conference regulars Reish and Roberts will cover several regulatory items, including PTE 2020-02. Blaine Aikin and Broadridge Fi360 Solutions Duane Thompson will cover four fiduciary trends. Professor Meghaan Lurtz of Kansas State University and Kitces.com will discuss client communications.

“Separate from that, we’ve got a ton of content on lifetime income, which is a huge theme of this year’s conference,” Faustino added. “When you see balanced portfolios down 12% or more year to date and meaningful inflation, lifetime income is really top of mind for many plan sponsors and end investors. So, our content aligns well with that this year.”

The Retireholics will be on hand, and Faustino will join the boozy band of defined contribution drunks for a live show on Sunday night.

“In addition to the in-person conference, we have virtual attendees, so we have a hybrid format this year, but we’re looking forward to a great in-person crowd in Austin, and we have a great event scheduled at world-famous music venue Austin City Limits on Monday night.”
