Aside from a house, workplace saving is the primary source of asset accumulation for many Americans. The Wealth@wor(k) conference  is dedicated to helping them save more starts Sunday at Paris Las Vegas—featuring high-profile industry experts in the defined contribution space.

Wealth@wor(k)’s unique structure keeps energy levels high and the program moving, including shorter sessions to avoid panel and speaker doldrums and high-carb snacks to keep attendees alert and engaged. Presentations are specifically designed to ensure attendees immediately implement takeaways into advisory practices upon return.

Conference host Ross Marino

Long days of learning are followed by high-quality entertainment with events overlooking the famed strip—a perfect work/fun balance organizers envision.

Education

Contributions, coverage, and (of course) crypto are all on the agenda, in addition to dealing with difficult investment committees, target date funds, ESG, and many other hot topics affecting the retirement space.

Host Ross Marino, Founder and CEO of Advisor2X, kicks it off Monday morning with his high-anticipated morning welcome. American Century Investment’s Glenn Dial then updates attendees on critical trends affecting advisors, sponsors, and—most importantly—participants.

Former NAPA president Alex Assaley with AFS 401(k) Retirement Services and Brett Shofner with Work Plan Retire then tackle “Retirement Committee Meetings of the Future.”

SRP’s Jeffrey Cullen and Jake Rushton take on “Turn Your Crypto Concerns into Crypto Confidence,” marketing maven Sheri Fitts appeals to emotion with clients with “What’s Your Connection Quotient?” and OneDigital leaders Vince Morris and Jania Stout cover the convergence of health and wealth in “Improving the Employee Engagement Experience through Employer Sponsored Workplace Initiatives.”

SRP’s Jeanne Sutton presents her version of ABC with “From Cold to Closed – How to Build A Pipeline From Scratch and Close Leads.” Christine Stokes explains the highly relevant topic of retirement income (often guaranteed) in “Ready or Not: Here Comes Retirement Income!” Sallus Retirement’s Lisa Kottler weighs in on the fintech front with “Gain An Edge By Embracing Fintech Trends.”

Entertainment

They’re just a few of the over 20 sessions on the first day alone, capped off by an evening reception at Chateau Rooftop with panoramic views of the Las Vegas skyline beneath the iconic Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas.

The second day starts with the annual celebration of this year’s group of Top Advisors by Participant Outcomes (TAPO) recipients. 401(k) Specialist magazine will recognize those advisors raising the bar for the industry as a whole. They’ll also name the overall 2022 TAPO and why they were chosen.

Following the ceremony, HUB Retirement and Wealth President Joe Denoyior explains how to “Earn Your Clients’ Lifetime Loyalty.” 2019 TAPO recipient Jamie Greenleaf will take on the Consolidated Appropriations Act (CAA) and how it’s “Upping the Ante for Everyone.”

High-profile ERISA and PEP experts Pete Swisher and Jason Roberts will tackle “Fiduciary Considerations of Cryptocurrency in 401(k) Plans.” Former NAPA President CEO Jeffrey Acheson, Chief Business Development Officer with Advanced Strategies Group, asks and answers the following critical question: “Are You in the Plan Business or the People Business?”

Missy Schoedel, Sasha Cibrian & Rebecca Hourihan with 401(k) Marketing step up to deliver, “What It Takes to Stand Out and Beat Algorithms | Creation to Personalization.” NFP Senior Financial Advisor Holly Knight and Leverage Retirement CEO Faith Teope will present the highly anticipated “Undressing the Mind: The Skill of Serving Different Generations.”

Again, it’s just a few of the over 20 sessions on that day alone, followed by another evening event at Hexx Kitchen, a patio with unparalleled views of the Bellagio fountains.

WE. Inspire. Promote. Network

WIPN (WE. Inspire. Promote. Network) invites all women attendees, both members and non-members, to enjoy a beautiful view overlooking the fountains on Sunday afternoon at 4:00 while networking with your female attendee peers. Top Advisors By Participant Outcomes (TAPO)

Media partner 401(k) Specialist will once again celebrate TAPO success and name this year’s overall honoree! Who will it be? The TAPO finalists take the stage with 401(k) Specialist editor John Sullivan for the exciting announcement on Tuesday morning.

THE HIVE

Something new and different this year—THE HIVE brings all attendees together from 3-5 on Monday and Tuesday.
