“We’re very excited about the opening of our new location and to have the opportunity to connect with even more members of our local communities,” said Dave Corman, founder of Generations Retirement Group. The firm has already expanded their educational and dinner retirement workshops into the Westborough area, with upcoming workshops scheduled in neighboring areas, like Framingham and Marlborough, in May. “This new space offers convenience in proximity and provides accessibility to our advisor and the services we offer,” adds Corman.

The firm also recently hired chief marketing officer, Kaijsa Kurstin, to expand its digital footprint and promoted one of its members, Sharon Moran, to director of client services.

In addition to improving the firm’s online presence, Kurstin will be responsible for overseeing all marketing efforts and helping the firm to connect with even more members of its surrounding communities. Moran will oversee business operations and client experiences.

To better support growth, the firm’s headquarters in Braintree has drafted plans of its own for expansion into larger office space, according to Generations Retirement Group. The space will boast a large welcome reception area and will be outfitted with multiple conference rooms, offices, and a media production room.  The new space is scheduled to be open later this year and is located within the same business park as its current office.

Transamerica partners with Smart on PEP solution

Transamerica will be providing recordkeeping and 3(16) plan administration services for a new pooled employer 401(k) retirement plan solution from Smart Retirement Solutions Inc., named the Choice PEP.

The PEP offers a workplace 401(k) retirement plan solution for employers wanting to reduce their administrative burden, said Transamerica in a news release. In addition, multiple 3(38) investment fiduciaries are available to adopting employers.

“We are honored to work with Smart as the recordkeeper for the Choice PEP,” said Phil Eckman, president of workplace solutions for Transamerica. “This collaboration underscores our commitment to providing employers with cost-efficient retirement plan solutions that simplify plan administration and deliver long-term value to their employees.”

“We are delighted to be working with Transamerica to bring innovative, technology-forward PEP solutions to the marketplace in order to help more employers provide retirement plans to their employees,” said Jodan Ledford, CEO for Smart in the U.S.
