Financial Finesse on Monday named Todd Lacey as president of the firm, where he will drive the financial wellness solution provider’s development amid growing demand for financial coaching solutions.
Lacey previously worked as the chief revenue officer at Stadion Money Management and executive vice president of Investments & Retirement Strategy and Corporate Development for Transamerica. He was also the founder and president of the (k)larity Group.
He has experience working in business development and scaling operations, as well as leading high-functioning teams.
His appointment comes during a time of high need for financial wellness tools.
Earlier this year, the firm announced a new partnership with emergency savings platform SecureSave to offer rainy day accounts to Financial Finesse participants. In 2024, Financial Finesse acquired OfColor, a financial wellness platform, to reach employees of color as part of its broad-based employer-sponsored financial coaching programs.
“Joining Financial Finesse is an exciting opportunity to help accelerate growth and expand the company’s positive impact,” said Lacey in a statement. “The team’s innovative work in integrating technology with financial coaching is a game-changer, and I look forward to leading and contributing to the next chapter of growth.”
As a result of Lacey’s appointment, Financial Finesse CEO Liz Davidson will return her focus to partnerships, investments, and acquisitions for the firm.
“Financial Finesse is at an exciting inflection point, with record levels of organic growth, and a marketplace that is increasingly realizing the importance of independent financial coaching as an employee benefit,” said Liz Davidson, CEO and founder of Financial Finesse. “We’ve invested a lot of time and energy searching for a leader with the unique skillset, proven successes, and deep alignment with our mission to take the business to the next level, and we’re thrilled to have found it all in Todd.”
