Our gratitude goes out to these gals.

Congratulations are in order for a standout group of female retirement professionals.

The National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA) today announced its 2018 list of Top Women Advisors.

Now in its fourth year, the accolade is meant to celebrate the growing number of women who excel in their field and are making significant contributions to the industry.

“We are pleased and proud to be able to once again acknowledge the fine and important work that these individuals have done to help provide a better retirement for their clients, employers and individual retirement savers alike,” Nevin E. Adams, chief communications officer of the American Retirement Association and editor-in-chief of NAPA-Net, said in a statement.

More than 500 advisors were nominated by broker-dealer and RIA NAPA Firm Partners. Nominees were issued a questionnaire regarding their experience, education, team structure, accomplishments, and impact.

Their responses were then anonymized and reviewed by a blue-ribbon panel of judges.

Honorees were assigned to one of three categories:

All-Stars. These advisors are top producers who have their own practice. Francesca Frederico of Twelve Points Retirement Advisors, Heather Johnson of SageView Advisory Group, Jenny Yun Hunter of Merrill Lynch, and Courtney Sindelar of Fiduciary Plan Advisors are just a few who made the list.

Captains. These advisors are All-Stars who are also principals, owners or team captains of their organizations. Jessica Ballin of 401(k) Plan Professionals, Barbara Delaney of StoneStreet Renaissance, Jamie Greenleaf of Cafaro Greenleaf, and Jania Stout of Fiduciary Plan Advisors were among those selected.

Rising Stars. These are top producers who have less than five years’ experience with retirement plans as an advisor. Up-and-comers Elaine Featherstone of SHA Retirement Group, Nikki Hamblin of GRP, Annie Strout of Morgan Stanley, and Abigail Russell of CAPTRUST Financial Advisors were included in the group.

The complete list of all 115 honorees is available on NAPA’s website.
