Todd Lacey Leaves Financial Finesse for Key Retirement Role at Lincoln Financial
Well-known retirement industry veteran Todd Lacey has left his position as President of Financial Finesse to become Senior Vice President, Head of Institutional Sales for Retirement Plan Services at Lincoln Financial Group, Lincoln announced on Monday.

In his new role, Athens, Ga.-based Lacey will lead Lincoln’s institutional sales organization for its retirement business, with a focus on deepening consultant relationships and supporting long-term growth.
“As we continue to execute our strategy and strengthen our position in the retirement market, Todd’s leadership and deep industry expertise will be a valuable addition to our team,” said Jason Crane, Senior Vice President and President of Retirement Plan Services. “He brings a strong client-centric mindset, a broad network of partnerships and a clear focus on execution that will help us continue to build momentum across our organization.”
Lacey brings more than 25 years of experience in the retirement industry, with a strong track record of building and leading high-performing sales and business development teams. At Financial Finesse, he was responsible for firmwide operations and strategic growth at the pioneering independent financial wellness firm led by Founder and CEO Liz Davidson.
Previously, Lacey served as chief revenue officer and board member at Stadion Money Management, where he led revenue-generating functions across sales, marketing and product. Earlier in his career, he held a variety of senior leadership roles at Transamerica, including Executive Vice President of business development for retirement and Executive Vice President of strategy and corporate development. He also was Founder and President of The (k)larity Group, an independent retirement plan consulting firm based in Athens, Ga.
Crane, who joined Radnor, Pa.-based Lincoln Financial in Sept. 2025, oversees all strategy and execution for Lincoln’s RPS business and is a member of Lincoln’s Corporate Leadership Group. Crane and Lacey worked together previously at Transamerica.
